Referees

[su_heading]U9/U10 Rec Referee Program[/su_heading]

U9 and U10 Recreational division teams are required to provide two Grade 9 Certified Referees.

If you are not coaching, another great way to be directly involved with Rage soccer is to become a referee. U9 and U10 games are *very* easy to officiate and a lot of fun. Because these are the first age groups with non-coach referees, it is a unique opportunity to help the young players understand the role of the referee and also to help explain a few of the most basic rules as needed during the games. And as a referee, you always have the best seat in the house.

What you get as a referee:

referee· Paid enrollment in a short, locally held referee class to give you the necessary understanding of game rules
· Grade 9 referee certification and badge
· Free referee uniform, flag set, and whistle
· A fun way to get exercise while supporting Rage soccer
· The valuable opportunity to be directly involved with your child’s soccer experience

Become a Grade 9 Certified Referee by enrolling in one of the PSRA classes.
