Purpose: To recognize and reward scholar athletes who demonstrate RAGE excellence in academic achievement and service to the community.

Scholarships: Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded. Additional scholarships may be awarded based on available funds.

Eligibility: Pleasanton RAGE high school seniors who plan to attend a 4-year or 2-year college, or a vocational or art school and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or above (grades 9-12).

Applicants will be considered based on the following criteria:

  • Academic Achievement
  • Commitment to Volunteerism/Service
    • Community Service RAGE Club
    • Church
    • Referee
  • Years playing for the RAGE Club

Conditions: The $1,500 scholarships are to be used toward tuition, fees, and/or books for the upcoming school year and are non-transferable. The scholarship funds will be distributed to the selected students and their colleges after RAGE receives proof of acceptance from the colleges the students will be attending.

Application Process and Checklist: The evaluation committee will review all applications and select a minimum of two recipients. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than July 1. Each application must be accompanied by the following:

  • Completed Application (attach additional pages if needed)
  • Essay (details at bottom of application)
  • Copy of High School Transcript, dated after January 15 of the current year
