Game Schedule
Where: Pleasanton Middle School

Details regarding Game Day

Games and clinics will be held at Pleasanton Middle School.
Fields are located inside the track area.
Field #1 will be closest to the parking lot--Field #3 will be closer to Bernal.
Call the Pleasanton School Fields Line at 931-5360 to determine if fields are open for play.
Please have the girls wear their grey Spring Soccer shirt as their uniform. You will be given these the first day of practice. Pennies will be at the field.
Players should arrive 15 minutes before game time for warm-up.
Early games are responsible for goal setup and late games for goal takedown.
Please keep field areas litter free. Collect all garbage before leaving the playing field.

Encourage Players…
To dribble, possess, shoot, maintain pace of play, make decisions (pass/dribble mentality), and HAVE FUN!!!

Rules and Guidelines

Saturday play: two 30-minute halves with a 5-minute half time.
5v5, 4v4, or 3v3 (no keeper). Each player must play AT LEAST 30 minutes.
Each team must field the same numbers of players.
Training assistants will make substitutions one at a time on the fly.
Playing time should be distributed equally between players.
A goal can only be scored from inside the attacking team’s offensive half of the field.
A ball out of play over the end line by the defending team will result in a corner pass in (on the ground) by the attacking team.
A ball out of play over the end line by the attacking team will result in a goal kick by the defending team. Goal kicks can be taken from anywhere on the goal line outside the goal area.
A ball out of bounds over the sideline will result in a pass-in or dribble-in: choice of player taking the ball. Defending team must give three yards off the sideline.
No direct free kicks.
Players may be shifted from one team to another based on attendance.
Have fun. Practice what was learned in the clinic. Encourage the girls to try new things – this is a developmental program.
If a team is ahead by 3 or more goals, the winning team should remove a player from the field or the losing team should add a player. Otherwise, standard rules apply.
