Mark your calendar and plan to attend one of the 2016 Rage sponsored PCA meetings. PCA plays a key role in defining and reinforcing the positive culture for parents and coaches in our club. Attendance is required for Rec and Flight coaches and strongly encouraged for parents.

Tom comes qualified to present having been a college basketball player and coach at Santa Clara University, a youth sports coach in basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer, a referee in high school basketball, and probably most importantly, a parent.  Tom also is self-employed as a consultant and trainer in the “people skills” areas of management and leadership, sales and sales management, customer service, team building and communication skills.

Joseph L. Thomas – also known as “JT The Mentor Coach” is the President and CEO of Coaching Legacy (www.coachinglegacy.com). He is a parent, renowned speaker, educator, author and minister who has dedicated his life to serving our nation’s youth.   Thomas is the Founder of “JT The Mentor Coach” National Youth Viral Video Competitor Mentor Academy.  He is a National Trainer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The author of “Developing Character Leaders Through Sports” and The Parents’ Playbook for Raising Character Leaders.” He is an accredited instructor for the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. Thomas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sacramento State where he played his college basketball.  He is the former Northern California Lead Trainer for Positive Coaching Alliance.  Thomas served 4 years as an Athletic Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a former high school 3 sport student-athlete and All City First Team baseball player.  Thomas has 15 years of coaching experience, including coaching his son.  He has facilitated over 900 workshops in 23 U.S states.
