Rage Competitive Winter Academy Soccer Skills & Identification

The Youth Academy emphasizes skills and learning the “beautiful game.” It was developed for the needs of ALL competitive players to get better. This development program will help players improve their soccer skills, understanding the tactics and improving their game. This academy is open to children playing in the U9-U13 competitive age groups. This is a great way for players that want to get better and be identified by our coaching staff for our competitive teams. If you are interested in playing for Rage this is a great opportunity to be seen by the Rage Technical Staff for next season.

WHO IS THE STAFF?

The Rage Youth Academy staff is overseen by the Director of Coaching, Philippe Blin, and will consist of coaches selected from our Rage staff coaches.

WHEN ARE THE SESSIONS?

Monday (Jan 26 / Feb 2, 9, 16 & 23): Technical sessions (4-5:15pm)

Friday (Jan 30 / Feb 6, 13, 20 & 27) : Small sided games (4-5:15pm)

REC CAMPS

Recreational Winter Youth Academy 2015

The RAGE Recreational Youth Academy provides a unique learning environment for recreational players to develop fundamental soccer skills. The goal of this Academy is to foster a passion for soccer and a greater understanding of the game while building a solid foundation of basic skills and technique. It was developed for ALL young players to have fun while learning to love the “beautiful game”.

The Recreational Youth Academy is open to all RECREATIONAL children playing in the Fall 2014 U7, U8, U9 and U10 age groups. This is a great way for players to continue improving throughout the winter months.

*If you are interested in joining a competitive team next year, start developing the skills you need in the Recreational Youth Academy this winter season!

Academy Trainers:  Recreational Program Director (Megan Walinski) and RAGE Coaching Staff

 When:   January 6, 2015 – February 12, 2015 (6 week program)    60 minutes, once-a-week training session (total of 6 sessions)

Player must bring cleats, shin-guards, soccer ball, and water to all practices.

Cost:  Rec Winter Academy is $100
